M-560 is used for rapid and accurate determination of the melting and boiling points manually with simultaneous determination of the melting temperature of 3 samples with video recording.

M-565 can do fail-safe calibration with automated determination and storage of calibration results, automatic determination of melting and boiling points with double check of difficult samples by comparing manual and automated measurement. The video recording of the melting or boiling process enables a fatigue-proof, relaxed observation of the phase transition on the colour display in 6 fold magnification.
