Flame Sterilization

Description
Flame sterilization is still a routine task performed in many microbiological laboratories. Bunsen burners, which have been used since the mid-19th century, are now much safer. Flame monitors re-ignite a flame that has been inadvertently extinguished or turn off the gas supply if this does not work. Temperature protection prevents overheating and a burning time defined by the user offers additional safety to avoid serious accidents during flame sterilization.

INTEGRA offers the following devices for flame sterilization:

FIREBOY: Two different types of safe Bunsen burners for connection to a gas distribution system or gas cartridges.

FLAMEBOY: Flame pistol with piezoelectric ignition for connection to a gas distribution system or gas cartridges.
