Temperature is the most important external factor influencing refractive index measurements, but it is very difficult to detect temperature deviations affecting a refractometer’s measuring prism. Anton Paar has developed the Abbemat T-Check for best-in-class surface thermometry. To ensure full traceability, the temperature check is performed in comparison with an external certified temperature sensor. Anton Paar has a long pedigree in traceable temperature measurement with the MKT 50 Millikelvin thermometer, which is widely used as a reference instrument.
The Abbemat T-Check enables you to check and adjust the temperature sensors of the Abbemat refractometers with high precision in the field to ensure accurate refractive index measurements with minimum downtime on-site. Additionally, the needs of pharmaceutical customers during the qualification process are met by proving not only the refractive index but also the temperature measurement with the Abbemat refractometers.
Anton Paar offers a qualification package and assists you during the process to ensure that your Abbemat is put into operation as quickly as possible - now with a fully traceable temperature check.
